Students Overseas

JHSAP wants to support all university graduate, medical, and professional students regardless of your location. Unfortunately, licensing and ethical guidelines prevent us from providing counseling services from a distance. 

Available Services

  • Up to two conversations via phone, videoconferencing such as Skype, or email. The first conversation is a consultation to assess your concerns and challenges. The second conversation is a discussion about potential outcomes, resources, a personal action plan, and names of providers in your area.
  • Online resources. There is a breadth of online materials posted on the JHSAP website that are applicable to all students. Here are some highlights:
  • During the 2014-2015 academic year, we intend to provide more bite-sized chunks of information so that you can listen, watch, and read about topics important to you just when you need the information. Currently, we have recordings of presentations on:
